Snowflake Lane in Bellevue Square brings nostalgia and new memories in 21st year

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue Square has officially transformed into a winter wonderland for the next month, as the city launched the opening night of its annual Snowflake Lane parade.

The parade is held every night starting at 7 p.m. sharp and lasts for 25 minutes, between NE 4th Street and NE 8th Street within Bellevue Square. It repeats every night from the day after Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve.

“Last year I remember thinking, I can’t believe this many people put this much effort into this every single night.” said Travis Kearin, who lives in Bonney Lake, and brought his wife and children to stand on the curb and watch this year’s opening night…
