Lowcountry organization gives back to foster care children during the holidays

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) — One local nonprofit organization is calling on the community to help donate to foster care families and children in need for their annual toy drive at Charleston Southern University.

“It will always be hard for that child. You can think that just because they’re 21 and grown now, that they don’t care, they don’t feel it, but we do. Every holiday, every Christmas, every Thanksgiving, everything, we always feel it,” Former Foster Care Child Brianna Blitch said.
