KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – According to the United States Geological Survey, USGS, an earthquake was detected in Kershaw County Friday morning.
The earthquake occurred nearly 5 miles east of Elgin around 9:45 AM Friday.
Generally, magnitudes around 2.0 and lower go unnoticed. However, according to the USGS website, as of late Saturday morning, nearly 20 reports of light shaking with no damage were submitted to the site. Most of the reports submitted came from Elgin and Lugoff…
