As reported by FOX 28, the collision, which involved several vehicles, transpired at approximately 11:46 a.m. yesterday and consequently urged local authorities to close a section of the interstate, specifically from the I-270 interchange to Weber Road, to conduct investigations and manage the aftermath.
The Columbus Division of Police confirmed that one individual was transported to a hospital in critical condition, causing concern among the community for the victim’s well-being. Measures were employed to facilitate the flow of traffic, diversions and alternate routes being advised for commuters in the area will likely continue until the full reopening of the roadway, according to an NBC4i report.
