Columbus Airport reopens after 3 months of reconstruction

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The runways have been cleared for takeoff at the Columbus Airport after three months of reconstruction, with the first commercial plane arriving on Friday.

For more than 55 years, the previous runway stood at the airport showing signs of cracking and depression throughout the years.
