Man dies after falling into active fire pit in Rockingham County, sheriff says

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man fell into an active fire pit and died.

According to a press release, on Saturday at 12:11 a.m., the RCSO responded to a reported death in the 300 block of Brushy Mountain Road in Stoneville.
