LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington man was arrested on Friday in connection with warrants accusing him of assaulting a woman multiple times over the span of two days in July, while he was reportedly out on bond in connection with an investigation of a protective order violation and a robbery case.
Court documents read that officers with the Lexington Police Department were dispatched around 6 a.m. on July 10 to the 1500 block of Flemishbond Path in response to reports of a woman barricading herself in her home after an alleged fight with Reza Jalali, 29.

A report showed that Jalali punched and kicked the victim several times in the face, back, and legs, leaving visible injuries on her face, chin, and eye, as well as the back and legs, which were causing her pain. She told police that after allegedly threatening to shoot her in the bathroom, Jalali told her to get on her knees and walked away. She then ran into the closet and shoved a metal rack against the door, locking herself inside.
In the July arrest warrant, investigators wrote that the victim didn’t sleep for two days due to fear of Jalali and the loaded gun that he had allegedly pointed at her head…
