Record low temps possible tonight

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Friday night into Saturday morning will be the coolest air we have experienced in a long time. Lows will be falling well into the 20s across the region. Record low temperatures will be possible in some locations. If you have any plants you want to protect, bring them inside.

Saturday will be another nice, but chilly day across the area. We will see lots of sunshine, but temperatures won’t rise much. Temperatures across the Grand Strand will reach 50 degrees. Many areas west of the intracoastal waterway back into the heart of the Pee Dee and border belt will stick in the upper 40s.

By Sunday we will see warmer air moving back into the area. A cold front will approach the area. This will bring a chance of some isolated showers on Sunday evening. Monday will be another cool day across the area. Highs back into the low to mid 50s with partly cloudy skies. B…
