Santa trades sleigh for surfboard at Seaport Village event

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — “Surfin’ Santa” will return to Seaport Village on Saturday from 1-4 p.m. to spread holiday cheer in true San Diego style.

Santa will arrive by watercraft at 1 p.m., trading his sleigh for a surfboard. He will then lead a festive parade along the boardwalk to the fountain courtyard.

At the courtyard, visitors can pose for a free downloadable picture with Santa riding a 6-foot wave. There will also be live music, holiday decor and family-friendly activities all afternoon.
