• 8:39 a.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Highway 224 about 1 mile west of Barton in Clackamas County that took the life of Akahieleu Redo, 22, of Oregon City. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Redo was riding a westbound Yamaha R6 when he lost control while negotiating a curve, left the roadway, struck a mound of dirt and went airborne before the motorcycle and rider came to rest in a tree.
