Father Bill’s & MainSpring celebrates completion of 24-unit housing development in Stoughton

Father Bill’s & MainSpring (FBMS) has completed a 24-unit permanent housing development at 1919 Washington Street, transforming the former Stoughton Motel into studio efficiency apartments for individuals who have experienced homelessness.

FBMS celebrated the project with a ribbon cutting on November 14, welcoming nearly 150 community leaders and partners, including Congressman Stephen Lynch, Secretary Ed Augustus (EOHLC), and members of the Massachusetts Legislature.

The $10.5 million redevelopment of the 3.88-acre property began in March 2025 and includes three buildings with 12,100 square feet of living space. Two units are fully wheelchair accessible.
