Thanksgiving day house fire displaces Springfield family

SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Springfield family has been displaced after their home was damaged by a fire on Thanksgiving, according to Smokey barn News (SBN).

SBN reports that Springfield Fire Department crews were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of Lish Lane for reports of a fire just after 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

When crews arrived, they found the home heavily engulfed in flames. Though firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire, about 50% of the home sustained some degree of fire, smoke or water damage…
