Forecast: Much-Need Rain On The Way, Staying Chilly!

SUNDAY:Today we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with some isolated showers around until a front comes through later today. Highs today will be in the low 60s. Tonight, expect skies to remain mostly cloudy, but we should be dry.

THIS WEEK:Monday will start out dry, but we could see some isolated showers in the afternoon. The rain really starts to get going around the dinner time and looks to last through much of the overnight into the first part of Tuesday. Highs on Monday will be near 60. The rain should be coming to an end by late morning on Tuesday with clouds decreasing late afternoon into Tuesday night. Wednesday looks to be the best day of the week with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s. Wednesday morning will be quite chilly with morning lows in the upper 20s to low 30s, so expect some frost. Thursday, we start out nice but clouds will be on the increase later in the day with afternoon highs near 60. Friday, our next rainmaker arrives as an area of low pressure skirts the Gulf coast bring us moisture and good chances for rain back in the forecast.UPCOMING WEEKEND:The rain continues to be in the forecast for much of Saturday as that low moves further east along coast, with the low now situated south of Columbus. Highs on Saturday will be in the low 60s. Sunday is looking mostly cloudy early with still an isolated shower possible, but there is some uncertainty when it comes to timing and when the rain chances comes to end. Overall, for the next 7 days, we stay fairly chilly with below average temperatures, but the big story, we could see anywhere between 2.5 to 4 inches of rain, so some much-needed rain is on the way for the first week of December…
