GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Nearing 110 years old, the former Grand Rapids Savings Bank building still stands elegant and tall. The 13-story tower fits in among the downtown skyline with its Greek Revival style. Some buildings may be older or bigger or more well known, but none of them has hosted someone as historically famous than the one that still stands on the northeast corner of Ionia Avenue and Monroe Center Street.
