LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — The City of Lansing has announced it will extend its Code Blue emergency weather plan, now running each night through Saturday, December 6.
Code Blue allows local shelters to increase capacity and alter hours temporarily during harsh winter weather. In addition, the Capital Area Transportation Authority will provide free rides to warming shelters for those in need.
