Rohnert Park Police Seek Public’s Help to Find Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident

The Rohnert Park community is grappling with a tragic hit-and-run incident that left one pedestrian dead, prompting an urgent search for the driver responsible; the authorities have released details in the hope of tracking down the suspect. In an official social media post by the City of Rohnert Park Police & Fire, the collision was reported to have taken place yesterday, at around 6:30 PM, when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene, with the driver fleeing immediately afterward.

Investigators, scouring for any tangible leads have turned to the public for assistance; based on vehicle parts found at the site of the accident and corroborating witness accounts, along with surveillance footage the vehicle in question is believed to be a Chevy Silverado, manufactured between the years 2014 and 2018, black in color with a distinctive lift kit and chrome wheels, now marred with significant damage to its front end which evidence suggest should be visible evidence resulting from the impact.
