KCFD ambulance, tractor-trailer crash sends one to hospital, Hazmat dispatched to contain fuel

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A KCFD ambulance was involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer on northbound US-169 on Saturday evening.

According to the Kansas City Fire Department, it happened at around 7:08 p.m., northbound on US-169 near MO-152.

A KCFD ambulance was responding to a call and had pulled over behind a vehicle on the highway when it was hit by a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer then crossed the median and entered the southbound lanes of US-169 Hwy.

The KCFD Hazmat company was then dispatched to contain fuel that spilled onto the highway from the truck…
