FORESTVILLE, Md. (DC News Now) — It was a busy day for shoppers in the DMV as many headed to the malls and stores early, looking for good bargains for Black Friday.
Qwanzi Samuels and his wife from District Heights spent the morning shopping at Target at the Forestville mall. They say it is an annual tradition to look for good deals.
“We saw some sales, and we decided to take advantage while we could today, but it was good to just get out after yesterday. We ate a lot, so we wanted to make sure we walked some of that off,” Samuels described.
