BOISE — Empty Bowls is poised to make its in-person return this December, still offering hundreds of artisan bowls on sale but this time at a different location.
For the Idaho Foodbank, Empty Bowls serves as the flagship Treasure Valley event that arrives when heightened heating bills, holiday expenses and other winter-related costs eat up budgets and increase food insecurity in the community.
This year’s event will take place Friday, Dec. 5 and Saturday Dec. 6 from noon to 6 p.m. Though previously held on The Grove Plaza in downtown Boise, this year’s event will be on the second floor of the Boise Towne Square mall, located at 350 N. Milwaukee St., near JCPenney…
