After a week of being closed, the Nevada Day Gift Shop is back open at a new location near the Carson Nugget. The organization behind the store said it’s a big upgrade over their old spot.
“We never really closed. It was just kind of like, ‘we need to change space and have a bigger storefront, “said Chantell Peck, Executive Director, Nevada Day Parade.”
Peck said they used to operate out of a small office space near Red’s Old 395 Grill. At their new spot, you can find anything from Nevada-themed shirts to art made right here in the Silver State. Peck said the opening came at a perfect time to show support to other local endeavors…
