BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – One person has died after an 18-wheeler overturned on I-20/59 Sunday afternoon in Birmingham.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue initially say they are unsure what the 18-wheelers typically carries, but the trailer was empty. However, a fuel spill did occur from the actual fuel tank (saddle tank) of the truck after it turned over.
Officials say there were no other cars involved in the crash, but delays are expected.
