Significant traffic impacts are taking place around Nashville International Airport today.
Sunday is the busiest travel day of the Thanksgiving holiday, so heavy travel volumes were anticipated at BNA. But a noon crash that closed I-40 West at mile marker 215 near the airport for hours played a part in the congestion, as did 76 flight delays at 4:30 p.m.
