Chilly and breezy Saturday

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – A bitterly cold start to the weekend. This morning temperatures are starting off in the mid to upper 20s inland. Closer to the coast, temperatures are near freezing. A little bit of a breeze has those wind chill values well into the 20s.

Saturday will be another nice, but chilly day across the area. We will see lots of sunshine, but temperatures won’t rise much. Temperatures across the Grand Strand will reach 50 degrees. Many areas west of the intracoastal waterway back into the heart of the Pee Dee and border belt will stick in the upper 40s.

By Sunday we will see warmer air moving back into the area. A cold front will approach the area. This will bring a chance of some isolated showers on Sunday evening. Monday will be another cool day across the area. Highs back into the low to mid 50s with partly cloudy skies. B…
