NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News Police Department responded to a call of shots fired this evening, approximately around 8:30 p.m., in the 700 block of Lance Drive.
Upon the arrival of the police, they encountered a juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. The juvenile was then transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
