A restauranteur who started out as a busboy is bringing a new café to The Villages.

Eric Holm has signed a lease with The Villages to bring Peach Valley Café to Eastport.

Holm has built a successful career in the restaurant business, but started out as a busboy at Sonny’s BBQ in Gainesville, alongside his mother who was a waitress. The single mother of five instilled in him the values of hard work and hospitality. He went on to own and operate more than 20 Golden Corral restaurants in Florida and Georgia. Prior to his success, he worked many humble years at McDonalds, Wendy’s and Dairy Queen.

Soon he will be bringing the down-home comfort foods to the Peach Valley Café, a 4,160-square-foot restaurant to be located at the intersection of Eastport Drive and Dewey Drive…
