Bedford County, Va. — The cold didn’t stop families from heading out to Bedford Evergreens Christmas Tree Farm on Sunday to pick out their perfect Christmas tree. In fact, many families said picking out their tree the weekend after Thanksgiving is an annual tradition.
“We’ve been doing this for years, and it’s a tradition,” a member of the Downey family, who was looking for the perfect trees for their holiday, said.
“We do this every year, we’ve been doing it for probably, about, almost 10 years, I would say,” Eric Capps, who has been getting his tree from Bedford Evergreens Christmas Tree Farm for years, said.
