1 person wounded in road rage shooting on I-95 in Philadelphia, police say

One person was wounded in a road rage shooting on Interstate 95 Sunday morning, Pennsylvania State Police said. The highway was shut down for several hours because of the investigation.

According to PSP, the shooting happened just after 7 a.m. on I-95 North near the Cottman Avenue exit. The suspect, who was in a silver Honda Accord, shot several rounds from a semi-automatic pistol at a brown Honda CRV, police said. The CRV was struck multiple times, and a passenger was shot once in the arm. The people in the CRV drove themselves to an area hospital, where the victim is receiving treatment.

Pennsylvania State Police located the Accord at a home on the 4300 block of Sheffield Street just before 9 a.m. Two people inside the home were detained for investigation, according to police. One of them was taken into custody, and charges including attempted homicide are pending against him, police said…
