IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – The Kitty Corner Social Club in Iowa City is a place where people can interact with adoptable cats in calm environment outside of the shelter.
On Sunday November 30, it celebrated its 200th adoption since opening earlier in 2025.
The woman who adopted the cat, Mimi, Leela Sathyaputri, said “She had this adorable video of her kneading at a blanket and the description was that she really really loved to snuggle and that is what I was looking for in a cat…it was love at first sight.”…
