El Paso residents, if you’re wondering about trash collection amidst your Thanksgiving festivities, you’ll need to keep an eye on your calendars. According to a social media post from the City of El Paso, there will be no residential trash or recycling pickups on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
The City of El Paso Environmental Services Department has announced a modified waste collection schedule, so families will need to hold onto their trash a little longer than usual, while the city recognizes the time of gratitude and giving—the make-up collection day is slated for Monday, Dec. 1.
