West Virginia National Guard appreciates support for two Guardsmen shot in D.C.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WOWK) — Maj. Gen. Jim Seward with the West Virginia National Guard shared a message on social media Sunday evening thanking the public for the support shown for the two Guard members that were shot in D.C.

His message said:

“In the wake of the brutal shooting of SSgt Andrew Wolfe and SPC Sarah Beckstrom, Governor Morrisey and I have been in the District of Columbia to lend support to their families and our West Virginia National Guardsmen still on duty safeguarding the citizens of the District…
