AFR rescue person, dog from SE Albuquerque apartment fire

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Around noon on Sunday, Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR) rescued a person and a dog during an apartment fire. The fire took place near Florida Street in southeast Albuquerque.

Fire crews say they were able to control the fire at the two-story apartment within 10 minutes. Crews found an unconscious victim and took them to the hospital.

One dog was also rescued from inside the apartment. AFR investigators are working to determine the cause…
