COLONIE — Over his 10 years of experience in the construction business, Altamont-based builder Alex Ritmo has completed new houses and home additions for clients across the Capital Region. Oftentimes, after construction is complete, Ritmo said clients come to him and say they wished certain aspects of their projects were bigger, such as a laundry room or master closet.
It inspired Ritmo and his longtime friend Gabe August, a real estate salesperson based in Guilderland, to open WalkThru NY, a business that allows its customers to visualize life-sized construction plans to scale.
