Maryland Man Arrested For Attempting To Shoot Carolers
For some, going caroling is an extremely fun part of the holiday season. They feel it brings joy to homes and gets many in the spirit. It is not for everyone, and that was proven when a Maryland man pulled a gun on a handful of tween carolers. Fifty-eight-year-old Paul Brian Susie was at his Annapolis, Maryland home when three young girls came to carol. It seems he did not care for this and pulled a gun out of his window, the cops shared. They stated that Paul Brian Susie “pointed a firearm at them from a window inside of his residence.”
Now, the three minor girls did knock on the door prior to beginning their caroling, so Paul Brian Susie was alerted to their presence. They let whoever lived in the house know what their purpose was, and soon enough, Paul had a gun pointed at them. This act caused them to flee in fear, as they had no idea singing holiday songs would result in violence. Ultimately, one of the carolers’ mothers phoned the authorities to inform them of what had transpired. Paul was not alone when he pulled the gun. Rather, he and his wife were lounging together.
No, he was not sober when he was arrested, but he did state that he had pulled the gun on the girls. The Maryland man has since been charged with first- and second-degree assault. Marc Limansky, a spokesperson for the Anne Arundel County Police, shared this insight:
“It’s an assault because pointing a handgun at an individual is a threat of violence against that individual, a threat to their safety.”…
