Buttonwillow, CA (November 30, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash on southbound I-5 just south of Ashe Road resulted in injuries on Saturday afternoon, November 29. According to the California Highway Patrol, two primary vehicles were initially reported, one of which rolled over into the center divider and came to rest on its side. CHP confirmed injuries, including complaints of pain from at least one driver. Although an ambulance was dispatched, some parties declined transport and were treated at the scene. Officers worked to move damaged cars from the No. 2 lane, where debris and broken glass created a traffic hazard. Tow trucks, including a requested flatbed, were needed to remove the wrecked vehicles. CHP is continuing its investigation to determine exactly how many vehicles were involved and what caused the chain-reaction collision.
We extend our best wishes to all those recovering from this frightening crash…
