Police investigate counterfeit vehicle inspection stickers found on local ambulances

NAZARETH, Pa. – Investigators with Nazareth Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police are looking into the alleged use of counterfeit vehicle inspection stickers found on local ambulances.

On October 26, Nazareth Police received a tip that ambulances housed at the Nazareth Regional Ambulance Corps building on Seip Avenue had been fitted with fraudulent state inspection stickers.

A joint investigation was launched and revealed the stickers attached to department vehicles, eight in total, were indeed fraudulent, and the vehicles involved were promptly sent for legitimate inspections…
