NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A homeless man caught fire on a subway train near Times Square early Monday morning, though it remains unclear exactly how he burst into flames.

The man was sleeping aboard an uptown 3 train in Midtown just after 3 a.m. when the fire ignited, police said.
