Gas prices in Buffalo dip slightly, remain above national average

BUFFALO, N.Y. — According to the AAA Western and Central New York (AAA WCNY), the national average for a gallon of gasoline has dropped to $3.00, down seven cents from last week.

However, that’s not the case in WNY. The average price per gallon of gasoline in Buffalo is $3.17, which is down one cent from last week.

The national average dipped to $3 per gallon of regular gasoline for the first time since May 2021. This comes after more than 73 million Americans drove 50 miles or more over the Thanksgiving Holiday, AAA says…
