SC gas prices make significant drop after busy week of Thanksgiving travel

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The price of gas in South Carolina have made a significant drop after a busy week of Thanksgiving holiday travel on the roads, according to GasBuddy.

As of Monday, South Carolina’s average sits at $2.62 per gallon, down from last week’s $2.71 per gallon.

In Columbia, GasBuddy said data from a survey of 350 stations in the area saw prices down nine cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.62 per gallon. GasBuddy noted that the price is unchanged from a month ago and nearly six cents lower than this point in 2024…
