Imagine what you’d do if you went through a major change in the span of a day and you weren’t sure how to get things back on track. That’s what happened to Justin Ross and Ray Barnes, the general manager and executive chef, respectively, when a kitchen fire broke out at Lazy Dog’s Perimeter location this past summer.
“We didn’t know there was a fire, first of all, because we couldn’t see it,” said Ross. “There was some smoke that was blowing out of the lights in the kitchen, and we could smell it.”
