KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -Some sun will give way to increasing rain chances Monday night with the possibility of seeing some wintry weather.
MONDAY: Early sun will make way to building clouds throughout the day. High temperatures will be in the upper 40s. The bulk of the day should be dry until rain spills in during the evening before becoming more widespread overnight.
TUESDAY MORNING IMPACTS: After 5am, there is a brief window where rain may transition to a wintry mix, even a quick burst of snow across the plateau. That window closes by 8 or 9am as the system begins to taper off.
TUESDAY: By lunch time, we should begin to dry out, with the exception of some lingering wrap around moisture bringing in a few flakes across higher peaks. Elsewhere, we are drying out, but remaining chilly with highs only in the low 40s…
