MATA announced new systemwide service changes last week. While the Madison and Highland buses will remain unaffected, the Poplar is having some time changes.
The Poplar bus will continue to run about every 30 minutes until 7:45 p.m., after which it will operate once an hour until the end of service. Previously, hourly service began at 6:15 p.m. The route’s last outbound trip will now leave the William Hudson North End Terminal at 9:45 p.m., 30 minutes earlier than before.
All Poplar buses will now end at the North End Terminal, meaning inbound service to the University of Memphis will conclude around 11:25 p.m. instead of 10:25 p.m…
