PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A man from Nicaragua has pleaded guilty to illegally reentering the U.S., according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Florida.

‘Quiet Christmas’ to be held in Gulf Shores

Edwin Joel Martinez-Cruz, 38, reportedly left the U.S. in 2022 after receiving an Order of Removal from an immigration judge. Less than a year later, he returned to the U.S. and was convicted of trafficking a child.

Martinez-Cruz, who also goes by “Edwin Joel Ibarras-Ardon” and “Edwin Ibarra,” could serve two years in prison, then deportation, according to a USAO news release…
