HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — The River Oaks Golf Club in Horry County has officially closed to make way for a new housing development.
The land, currently zoned for SF10, permits the construction of homes within 10,000 square feet of one another. This zoning change allows for the development of more than 200 single-family homes on the property.
