Pay for workers in Manhattan jumped more than 10% in the first quarter of 2025, which ranked among the biggest increases nationwide, according to federal data.
Average weekly wages in Manhattan, also known as New York County, increased 10.6% during the first quarter of the year, when compared with the same period in 2024. That was the fourth-largest increase in average weekly pay among more than 350 of the largest counties in the U.S.
