No one was hurt after fire broke out at a home near 70th and Van Dorn just after 11:00 Saturday morning. LFR Public Information Officer MJ Lierman says the fire started in the fireplace of the home at 7242 Shamrock Drive.
She says the fire extended through the chimney and into attic space. It took crews about 30 minutes to get the fire under control. Lierman says the five residents and three dogs were able to get out safely. The American Red Cross is working to relocate the family…
