A disgruntled millennial went into a mental tailspin over the Thanksgiving holiday week over rising costs of housing and dining in Las Vegas, landing himself behind bars after he threatened to shoot up the San Antonio River Walk or a Spurs game, according to an arrest warrant obtained by MySA.
Christopher Stowe, 31, has been in police custody in the Bexar County Jail since Saturday, November 29, after an anonymous tipster sent a list of long messages allegedly drafted by Stowe to the San Antonio Police Department. According to these messages, Stowe became homicidal after spending too long in a McDonald’s drive-thru on Thanksgiving Day.
“Millanials [sic] will never have anything. College did nothing,” Stowe is accused of writing at about 2 p.m. on November 27 after allegedly sitting behind a man in a McDonald’s drive-thru who ordered a large amount of food. “No more taking families [to the] lake for an affordable vacation. You know dinner in Vegas used to be [$10]. [Now it’s] literally 80.”…
