A resident of Ypsilanti, Michigan recently shared a disturbing account of a home invasion on social media. The incident occurred last month when the homeowner was away on a work trip. The intruder, identified as an unhoused individual, was found in the homeowner’s bed after having used their shower and left their belongings around the house. The intruder had also stolen over $5,000 worth of items and left weapons near the doors. The individual was arrested and is now facing charges after attempting to claim “squatter rights” and being caught in other homes.
