Nearly 300 veterans find permanent housing with help from Ralph H. Johnson VA

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A big step in the fight against veteran homelessness here in the Lowcountry, as the Ralph H. Johnson VA said it’s helped hundreds of veterans find housing permanently.

It has been a record-breaking year for the VA, as more than 50,000 homeless veterans across the country were permanently housed in fiscal year 2025. Here in the Lowcountry, more than 300 veterans were housed by the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System.
