Step Forward’s Winter Crisis Program is now open, offering emergency energy assistance to Cuyahoga County residents who are facing disconnection or running low on fuel.
As the county’s sole provider of the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Step Forward is leading efforts to help families keep their homes warm and safe during the cold-weather months.
The program provides assistance to households that have been disconnected from utility services, received disconnection notices, or have less than a 25% supply of bulk fuel.
