Harnett County sheriff’s investigators are trying to piece together two shootings that happened minutes apart and took place in the same area.
The sheriff’s office said Monday that deputies responded about 3:45 p.m. on Sunday to Scooter Lane in Cameron for a shooting call. Deputies found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. The 18-year-old victim told deputies he was walking on McDuffie Road near Scooter Lane when a car came by, and someone inside opened fire.
He was taken to a hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries…
